A celebration of the life of Terry "Swede" Swenson will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Sanborn Fire Hall in Sanborn, ND. Terry died at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND on June 5, 2018 at the age of 64.

Terry Bruce Swenson was born to Roy and Hjordis (Nelson) Swenson on November 23, 1953.  He attended Sanborn High School and NDSCS.  On November 25, 1978, he married Pam Maresh in Valley City, ND.  They made their home in Sanborn, ND.

Terry was an avid member of the Sanborn Fire Department.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, softball, card playing, or any other competitive activity.  He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family any chance he got.

Swede is survived by his wife, Pam; mother Hjordis "Jo Jo"; daughter, Nicole Swenson; son, Danny (Allison) Swenson; two grandchildren (the light of his life), Nora and Myles.  Sisters, Janelle (Dan) Hawkley and Janet (Dick) Eggert; along with numerous extended family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy; brother, Merle; infant son, Jeremy; and sister-in-law, Bonnie.
