Raymond Miller, age 68, of Tower City, ND, died Wednesday, August 16th at his residence in Tower City, ND.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24th at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Valley City.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church and one hour before the Mass on Thursday morning.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at the church.  Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Raymond Joseph Miller, the son of to Bud (John) and Dorothy Miller, was born March 14, 1955 in Valley City, ND .  Ray graduated from Oriska High School in 1973.  After graduation he began his life long career as a farm laborer.  First for the McAllister's and then for the Henderson's.  Ray married Carol Buhr at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Oriska on December 27, 1991 and they made their home in Tower City, ND.  Ray lost his best friend and wife, Carol, on March 15, 2008.

Ray is survived by his brothers:  Mitch (Sandy), Harvey (Donna), Ken (Rose), Fr Jake, Cliff and Larry.  His sisters:  Helen Johnson, Gay (Ralph) Anderson and Gayle Halland.  And his step-son Greg (Jodee) Buhr.

Preceded in death by his wife, Carol, his parents, brothers: Melvin, Marvin, Arnie, and sister, Phyllis McDonough.  Brothers-in-law:  Don Johnson, Dan Halland and Kevin McDonough.  Also, preceded in death by his step-son, David Buhr.
