Patricia Ann Meester-Pedersen, 81, of Valley City, ND passed away November 23 ^rd , 2022, at Sanford Hospital Fargo, ND. Born March 23 ^rd , 1941, to Mabel and Edward Clewell in Hawthorne, NJ, she attended all 12 years of schooling in Hawthorne. Patricia married Marlen (Mike) Meester September 24 ^th , 1960, in Hawthorne. They made their homes in various towns in ND before settling for 15 years in Edgeley, ND.

Marlen Meester passed away in 1992. She met Franz (Skip) Pedersen in 1994; they married May 31 ^st , 1996, moving to Valley City. Pat worked as a care giver ensuring others were cared for starting in Home Health Care in Fargo, to St. Josephs in Edgeley, then Open Door in Valley City.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, flea marketing, puzzles, reading, and most importantly her family. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Valley City.

Pat is survived by her sister Mary Jane Clewell; four children - Veronica (Ray) Johnson, Donita (Shane) Johnson, Rhonda (Earl) Bostic, and Thomas (Sarah) Meester; 13 grandchildren - Jessica (Jayme) Duffy, Stephanie (Andrew) Stroh, Christopher (Amanda) Roland, Patricia (Michael) Arndt, Tharon Roland, Conor Bostic, Logan Ziegler, Chantel Johnson, Teague Bostic, Matthew Johnson, Mike (Madi) Meester, Katy (Zach) Kupser, and Amelia Meester; 13 great grandchildren, 1 soon to be great great grandchild, as well as 3 sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Edward and Mabel Clewell, 1 ^st husband Marlen (Mike) Meester, and 2 ^nd husband Franz (Skip) Pedersen.

Visitation will be held at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29 and a prayer service will begin at 7:00.  The funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 30 at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Valley City.  Burial will be at the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.  The services will be live streamed, then archived, on a link provided along with her obituary on her tribute page at www.lerudmathias.com .  An online guestbook is available there as well.
