Patricia Lacy, age 60, of Valley City, ND, died Tuesday, April 28th at the Sheyenne Care Center after a battle with cancer. A private family service will be held at a later date. Patricia Kaye Lacy, the daughter of Harry, Jr. and Eleanora (Blumhagen) Lacy, was born September 15, 1954 in Minot, ND. Pat attended school in Jamestown and Graduated from Jamestown High School. After her high school graduation, Pat attended Valley City State University. On October 9, 1976 she married Rick Derheim in Valley City. The couple had two children, Michelle and Keegan Derheim, they later divorced. In 1994, she moved to Dayton, OH. Pat returned to Valley City in 2010 to be closer to family. Pat had a love for animals and a passion for reading. She enjoyed gardening and plants. Her granddaughter meant the world to her. Patricia is survived by her daughter Michelle and granddaughter Keelia Young of Valley City, ND; three brothers, Morgan (Sheila) Lacy, Fesseden, ND, Tod Lacy and Keith (Lori) Lacy, all Nevada, IA; one sister, LoraLee (Eddie) Deitrick, Dayton, IN. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her son Keegan and one brother Jesse.
