Michelle “Micki” Stubstad, 75, Pillsbury, ND (formerly of Sanborn, ND) passed away in her home, June 3, 2026. There will be a celebration of her life service at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 12 at the Traditions Funeral Services Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation with friends and family will begin at 1:00. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Sanborn following the service. Michelle Faye “Micki” Bommer was born June 22, 1950, to Alfred and Lenore (Kirbiller) Bommer. She grew up in Sanborn, ND where she attended school. After high school, she married George Pabst Jr. and together they had two children.

In 2002 she married Neil Stubstad and they made their home in Pillsbury.

Micki loved her horses and dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Neil; daughter, Leslie (Merle) Zachrison; son, Jesse (Jodi) Pabst; brother, Ronnie (Lillette) Bommer; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Max Zachrison, Cierra and Sheldon Pabst

Her parents, grandparents, and a niece, Rachel Thompson preceded her in death.
