Mary Boyd Carman Lundquist was born June 16, 1927, to Donald and Jean Boyd Carman in Park Rapids, MN.  She spent most of her childhood in Pipestone, MN, graduating from high school there in 1945.  Mary went on to the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1950.

On April 2, 1954, she married John "Bud" Lundquist in St. Paul, MN.  In 1955, they moved to Valley City, ND where she helped raise several foster children.

Bud passed away January 10, 2006.  Her foster daughter, Edwina Bonner passed away on Mary's birthday, June 16, 2022.

At Mary's request, there will be no funeral.  She has donated her body to the UND Deeded Body Program in Grand Forks, ND.

Mary passed to her Heavenly home on July 4, 2022.
