FARGO
Mark Joseph Kvien, son of Mickey and Peggy (Lane) Kvien was born August 1 st , 1971 in Fargo, ND. Jesus took his hand and called him home December 9, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was baptized shortly after birth at St Luke's hospital and then had a public proclamation of his baptism when his twin brother Peter was baptized at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Valley City ND. Mark was confirmed at St Mark's Lutheran Church, East Grand Forks MN. He initially attended preschool in Valley City and then attended school in Grand Forks ND, graduating from Red River High School in 1992. Following graduation he chose to move to Fargo, residing at a Fraiser group home.
Mark loved people, and if he met you, he would never forget you, and you would never forget him. He taught family and friends many lessons about what was important in life. He loved bowling with family and friends, and he won many gold medals in Special Olympics bowling. Mark loved family holidays, birthday parties, car rides, rides in his wheelchair around town and at the mall. It was a rare outing when he didn't run into an old friend or caregiver.
