John Edmond Davis "Papa"

John Edmond Davis of Valley City, ND passed away on November 2nd with his wife at his side. He was the husband of Sherri Davis. They shared 20 years together

He was born in Alexendria, LA on November 7, 1947. John grew up in Pitkin, LA. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Northwestern State University. He had various jobs including farming, grain marketer, and eventually retired from Pipeline Construction. He was more well know as "Papa". He took this job very serious as every grandkid was covered in "Sugars"!

He was preceded in death by his parents; a couple of nephews, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and two brothers.

Survivors include wife Sherri Davis; sons Christopher (Stephanie) Davis, Shelton Davis; daughters Carol Lander, Staci (Wesley) King; brother W. C. "Dub"(Tommianne) Davis, Sister Betty Moss; sister-in-law Bobbie Davis; Many loved nieces and nephews; Grandchildren Patience, Faith, Jonny, Jordyn, and Ian.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday November 17th, 2019 @ 6pm at New Life Assembly of God, Valley City, ND.
