Jay Omdahl, 62, Dazey, ND passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

He was one of five sons born to Dean and Mary Omdahl. He attended North Central of Barnes High School.

Jay married Lori (Kunze) on September 27, 1980. They made their home in Dazey and raised five children. Jay owned Custom Automatics and worked as a mechanic for many years. He had a passion for flying planes and built an Ultralight airplane which he flew for a couple of seasons and later in life moved on to building and flying model airplanes. Jay also loved gardening, and planting trees.

Jay is survived by his wife Lori, five children Jason, Jane (Ryan), Sarah (Brandon), Becky (Cody), Amanda (Alex), and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his four brothers Neil (Kaye), Joel (Vickie), Brett (Paulette), and Jamie, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, a private graveside service will be held for the family.
