Faye Ellen (Eggar) Burrows, of Valley City, ND, passed away December 28, 2019, after a brief illness. She was born October 11, 1940, the only child of Norval and Frances (Warren) Eggar of Sheyenne, North Dakota.

Faye graduated from Sheyenne Public School, attended Jamestown College (now University of Jamestown) and graduated from NDSU in 1962. She married Claude Burrows, also of Sheyenne. They had two children. She taught Vocational Home Economics in North Dakota schools for 10 years. Later she worked for Sheyenne Valley Special Education Unit from 2001-2013.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Steve) Ottmar, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, grandson Thomas Ottmar, and son, Claude Burrows of Valley City; also, five goddaughters and hometown lifelong friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmothers, Hilda Warren and Mathie Eggar, and husband.

A service will be held at a later time at Riverside Cemetery, Sheyenne.
