Eric Ottinger, age 51, of Valley City, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, December 11th at Mercy Hospital in Valley City. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring for Eric. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Valley City, ND.

Eric Ottinger, the son Dr. Roy and Harriet (Noltimier) Ottinger, was born August 7, 1965 in Jamestown, ND. Eric grew up and spent school years in Jamestown and Grafton. Eric graduated from special needs High School in Fargo, then moved to Jamestown to live in Alpha Opportunities Group Home.

Eric is survived by his parents, and six siblings: Ann (Jack) Levine, Paul Ottinger, Alan (Lynette) Ottinger, Mary Ottinger, Roy Ottinger and Amy (Jeff) Klare; and seven nieces and nephews.
