Duane "Dewey" Triebold, age 52, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Valley City, ND, died Tuesday, April 30th at Sanford Health in Fargo after a short battle with brain cancer.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 11th at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel in Valley City.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Duane Herbert Triebold, the son of Herbert and Patricia (Schaff) Triebold, was born January 17, 1972 in Valley City, ND.  Duane grew up on the family farm and attended school in Oriska, ND where he graduated from High School.  After his graduation, he attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND.  He then moved to Fargo, ND where he worked at various jobs but most recently at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Duane loved to watch stock car racing and various other motorsports.  He also was an avid athlete while in High School.

Duane is survived by his mother, Patricia "Pat" Triebold, Valley City, ND; his brothers and sisters, Rick (Kathy) Triebold, Kathy (John) Kracht, all Valley City, ND, Denise Gruman (Bill Artis), Sanborn, ND, Diane (Art) Hagebock, LaMoure, ND, Jeff (Pam) Triebold, Fargo, ND; his Life Partner, Paul Daniely, III, Fargo, ND; numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Great-Nieces and Nephews.

Duane was preceded in death by his father, Herbert A. Triebold, his grandparents, nephews Will Hagebock and Adam Aus, and a brother-in-law Chuck Gruman.
