David Keys, age 85, of Tower City, ND, died Saturday, June 3 ^rd at his residence under Hospice of the Red River Valley Care surrounded by his children and family. Per David's wishes, no funeral services will be held.

David was a diesel mechanic and was affectionately known to some as "Diesel Dave". He was also a truck driver for many years and hauled grain to Duluth and the Twin Cities. David loved old time country music and taught himself to play guitar, harmonica and piano.

David is survived by his four children, Jerry (Patty Olstad) Keys, Page, ND, Ron (Sherry) Keys, Valley City, ND, Marsha (Nick) Holden, Page, ND and Alan (Jane) Keys, Erie, ND; four grandchildren, Andrea Keys, Jaden Keys, Tom Keys and Adam Keys; one sister, Harriet (James) Griffin, Tower City, ND; one brother, Phil Keys, Tower City, ND.

David was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Clara (Ward) Keys.
