Daniel Steidl, age 48, of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Fingal, ND, died Monday, October 19 th near New Rockford, ND the result of an automobile accident. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 3 rd at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fingal, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday November 2 nd from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday evening at the church. Due to COVID-19, all CDC suggestions as to service size and masks being worn will be followed. Inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Fingal, ND.
Daniel Ray Steidl, the son of Donald and Rita (Gruman) Steidl, was born September 12, 1972 in Fargo, ND. He grew up on the family farm near Fingal and attended school in Tower City where he graduated from Maple Valley High School. He attended college at Valley City State University in Valley City. He was the proud father of four children, Stephen, Sioux Falls, SD, Zoey, Waite, MN, Chianne, Jamestown, ND and Tanim, Bismarck, ND. He was also a very proud grandpa to his granddaughter, Ella Rose, Bismarck, ND. Daniel loved riding his Harley Davidson, horseback riding, cooking and farm life in general. He enjoyed driving the skid steer, taking care of the horses and cattle and traveling the countryside with his wonderful dog and best friend Jade. He also enjoyed the company of his friends and his family. Daniel liked being involved with Dart League and horsing around with his brother Larry and sister Susan.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Donald and Rita (Steidl) Steidl; his four children, Stephen, Zoey, Tanim and Chianne; his granddaughter, Ella Rose; his brother Larry and his sister Susan (Charlie) Thompson; several nieces and nephews.
