A funeral mass for Charlotte Burchill, 58, Valley City, ND will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sanborn, ND at 9:30 AM.  Visitation will be held in the church on Tuesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7 PM.  Charlotte passed away on December 28, 2017 at Sanford Health on Broadway Palliative Care in Fargo, ND.

On July 11, 1959, Charlotte Ann Burchill was born to Harry and LaRene (Kunze) Didier of Eckleson, ND. She attended school in Valley City and graduated as a Registered Dietician from NDSU. She married Jeff Burchill on June 25th, 1982. The couple then welcomed three daughters - Paige, Jenn and Hope.

Charlotte devoted her life to the care and well-being of others - especially at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, where she was employed for most of her adult life. She loved gardening, cooking, entertaining, traveling, and a good wine. In the past year, she found pleasure in refurbishing furniture, painting, and all things creative. She was able to attend the National Dietetic Convention in Chicago, see her youngest daughter finish cosmetology school, send her middle daughter on her dream trip to Africa, and encourage her oldest daughter to open her own business. Charlotte's girls were her world.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Jeff, her daughters, Paige, Jenn, and Hope, her mother LaRene Didier, and her siblings: Ken (Susan) Didier, DuWayne (Bev) Didier, Kay (Butch) Cox, Dwight (Melody) Didier, Linda (Ron) Sorenson, Donna Didier, Nancy (Dave) Larson, Barb Loibl and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Didier, brother Jerome Didier, & many aunts, uncles, and friends.

Throughout her battle, she has been blessed with abounding kindness from those who knew her. Your many thoughtful expressions of support have been a tremendous help. Charlotte was incredibly lucky to have all of you.
