Bonita Jeanette "Bonnie" Didier, age 87 of Casselton and formerly of Sanborn, ND died Sunday September 20, 15 at Sanford Health in Fargo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday September 24, 2015 at Sacred heart Catholic Church in Sanborn with Rev. Aragyo Gaddigotti celebrant. A Prayer Service will be recited at 7 PM Wednesday evening at the church. Visitation will be from 5PM until 7 PM Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Bonnie Boughton was born Dec. 3, 1927 to Harold and Hattie Boughton in Sanborn, ND. She was brought home in a horse drawn sleigh and was one of ten children. She grew up in Sanborn and returned there after retirement. Bonnie married Bernard Didier of Eckelson, ND on Oct. 20, 1947. They would have celebrated their 68th anniversary in October. They raised 7 children and moved from Sanborn, ND to St. Paul, MN, to Yakima, WA, to St. Charles, IL and were finally overjoyed to return to Sanborn in 1987. They resided there until Oct. 2014. Bonnie enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, gardening, playing cards with family and cooking for family celebrations. The 4th of July picnic was one the family looked forward to all year. Bonnie is survived by her husband Bernie; children David (Joanne), Joe (Cathy) Beth Hall (Larry), Renee, Mark, and Matt. She has six grandchildren: Matthew, Andy, Joshua, Austin, Nicki, and Riley, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Janie, a son William, parents Hattie and Hal, and sisters Winnie, Sis, Shirley, and Colleen.
