Betty Louise Whitcomb, 74, Valley City, ND passed away at her home June 14, 2025.  She will be laid to rest with her husband at Memory Gardens near Valley City.  The Lerud Mathias Funeral home is assisting Betty's family with arrangements.

Betty was born February 17, 1951, in Valley City to Leslie and Marjorie Selleck.  She was a lifelong resident of Valley City.  She worked many years at the Wagon Wheel Inn.

August 30, 1968, she married Ed Whitcomb, and the couple had two daughters, Angela and Tammy.  Betty enjoyed sewing and embroidery, playing games and going out dancing.

Ed passed away July 10, 2020.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Bob) Collins of Horace, ND and Tammy Whitcomb of Valley City, and her cat, Willow.
