Barry James Mowl, age 53 of Valley City, ND died Dec. 2, 2015 at his residence under hospice care.  Memorial Services will be conducted at 7 PM Wednesday evening at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Schlecht officiating.  Barry James Mowl was born Aug. 2, 1962 in Flint, Michigan the son of Gerald and Barbara (Smith) Mowl.  He married Pamela Uecker at Valley City on Oct. 14, 2011.  He had been an employee of the Valley City Times Record prior to his death.  He enjoyed music, he played bass, and he loved Air Force planes.  He also enjoyed NASCAR Sprint Cup racing and did model rocketry.  He loved meeting new people and making friends.  He will be missed by many. Barry is survived by his wife Pamela, three sons, Cole, Kyle, and Connor, 2 granddaughters, Madison and Marley, and his father Gerald (Jerry) Mowl.
