Barbara Triebold, age 90, of Valley City, ND, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Valley City.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 16th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Valley City.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the church.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Barbara Marie Enge, the daughter of Peter and Pearl (Barlow) Enge, was born in Warren, Minnesota on February 29, 1928. On May 15, 1948 she married Merril Triebold in Warren, MN.  Barbara and her husband Merril raised the 4 boys on their farm near Valley City.  Blessed with strength of character and good cheer, she was a positive force to everyone who knew her. Her family was foremost during her life.  She had many friends in the community and for decades enjoyed her routines of Bingo and regular meetings at breakfast and lunch with her friends

She is survived by her sons Kenneth of Ogema, Wisconsin, Raymond of Valley City, ND and Michael of Woodland Park, CO, 3 grandchildren; Robyn Triebold, Laura Triebold, and Holly Milhaupt, and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Pearl Enge, her brothers Donald and Carroll Enge, her husband Merril Triebold and her eldest son, Robert Triebold.
