Barb Korf, age 62, passed away November 27, 2017 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND, after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Valley City, ND on August 15, 1955 to Dale and JoAnn (Hass) Korf.

She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley City.  Barb graduated from Valley City High School in 1974.  She managed the VFW before moving to Mandan, ND where she worked for Image Printing until ill health forced her to quit.  She was an avid softball player and bowler.

Barb is survived by her mother, JoAnn Korf of Valley City, ND; her son, Christopher of Ft. Collins, CO; brothers, Jim of Valley City and Gerry (Mena) of Longmount, CO; sister, Teresa (Malcolm) Dayton of Ft. Collins, CO; nephews, Isaac and Ethan Dayton;  aunts, Eleanor (Don) Senrick of Apple Valley, MN, Donna (Emil-deceased) Hass of Valley City, Diane (Eldy-deceased) Korf of Valley City and Pat (Ray-deceased) Korf of Valley City; uncle Allen (Arlene, deceased) Froemke, Lisbon, ND; long time friend, Bernie Schulz of Mandan; and many cousins , friends and extended family.

Cremation has taken place and she will be buried with her father, Dale, at Memory Gardens near Valley City. Barb was preceded in death by her father , grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
