Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM for Ann "Susie" Hejtmanek, 64, of Valley City on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Valley City, with burial following in Memory Gardens near Valley City. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service in the church on Wednesday. Susie died at Mercy Hospital in Valley City on October 28, 2016.

Ann was born to Anna and Frank Kunze on July 31, 1952. She grew up in Valley City. Ann married Richard Hejtmanek in 1970.  She worked in Valley City most of her life as a cook and a caretaker. She was definitely known for her canning, cooking and baking.

She is survived by 3 brothers Frank(Louise) Kunze, Robert Kunze, and David Kunze  her sons  Brett (Katie) Hejtmanek, Chad Hejtmanek (Kari Lindeman) and Eight grandchildren Brett & Cadyn Hejtmanek, Jordan & Taylor Hejtmanek, Cortney Thomas, Cami Lindeman, Devin and Morgan Nelson and 1 great grandchild Aubree Hejtmanek. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Ann was proceeded in death by her husband Richard, son Joe, her parents, 4 sisters Teresa, Margaret, Barbara and Francis and 1 brother William Kunze.
